Gitzo GT3541 Mountaineer 4-section carbon fibre tripod with centre column. In virtually pristine condition, this 3-Series Mountaineer tripod is spectacularly capable, having a safe payload capacity of 18kg. The centre column has a sprung ballast hook from which you can hang a sandbag or full kit bag for extra stability. The head mounting plate has the Gitzo "Safe-Lock" facing material for secure head fixing without the need to hold the head in place with grub screws, but in case you do want to permanently mount a head, a grub screw is provided.

The tripod is compact and lightweight... And of course, being a Gitzo it is rock solid. The 4-section legs allow the tripod to be folded down to just 57cm, so it is perfect for travel, and it extends to a respectable 169cm.

The legs have been fitted with spikes that have removable rubber caps, so it is ready for use on all surfaces.
