The KOWA brand was one of the first Japanese sourced prismatic `spotting scopes` brands, first appearing I think in the 1950`s. The brand has since then been at the forefront of optical design producing both binoculars and scopes though they are probably better known for their spotting scopes especially in the U. Very popular with birders, they have consistently been strong sellers due to fine optical ability and good build quality.

And fina lly a DELTA HC1 HIDE CLAMP (same as velbon) which uses the tripods central column. All of this kit is in really nice used condition and works well together. The tripod a suitably impressive maximum working height of 1 59 cm approx.

And has a splayed leg feature for low level work. The TS N4 features a sliding le n s hood and the eyepiece has a rubber fold down eyecup.

Both lens caps are present. Defects: a few light external marks on scope and tripod ; possibly just a few internal dust specks and a small moisture spot just visible when shining a bright torch into the scope; a very small scratch or mark on the o cular eyepiece lens.
